I just looked at my site, and it appears I may have been wrong. I definitely got the message, but all the pages I have built and tried to upload seem to be there.
You could do me a real service by looking at them to see if they are there. The pages are:
http://newconcepts.bybweb.com which links to First Step and to About Me.
http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/TemplateHome
http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/TemplateFirstStep
Http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/TemplateAboutMe
I will link the template pages to the Instruction page so that people can click to load the templates.
My tractor page will have a click to get back to the home page. and I will also add a click on the home page, the First Step page and About Me page to click to the tractor page.
I don't know what I was seeing with that message. I'll see what happens
Please tell me what you think
This almost looks complicated but it really isn't. If you can build a one page website, you can add as many pages you want to (if the program allows) . How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
Thanks,

Yep I pushed the panic button too soon. What I read was
"File uploads are restricted to prevent account issues caused by exceeding your file system quota"
This is a statement above at the top of the page when you click the upload files the first time. IT IS ALWAYS THERE. I just wasn't regestering it. I think I know why I thought there was a problem.
If you capitalize first letters of words pushed together like I tend to do, the addition to the .com is case sensitive. For instance http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/aboutme will give you a page not found error. If you created the folder as AboutMe you have to use http://newconcepts.bybweb.com\AboutMe When I saw that page not found error and then read that statement at the top I did the panic thing
Tell you what, if this old 69 year old farm boy can do this ANYONE can.
It looks like we do have unlimited pages available. What a bonus over the GDI thing.
Here we have 15 autoresponders to use. How many does GDI have?
We get paid $5 bucks against their $2
We have unlimited page capabilities against their 6 page limit
We can call our pages meaningful names where theirs is Page1.....Page6
We have links to our reccomended programs,
And best of all we have people like Warren and Jeff on our team. I don't recall anyone helping me other than Warren with GDI
What else?
I'm sold, I'm ready to go get em.
Dave
By the way, I am willing to help anyone else on this idea. Warren did mention to me that we don't want to complicate things but the click link is really quite simple. There may even be a more correct way to do it but this is what I came up with. We should keep it simple and duplicatable. _________________ Dave Fullmer

Hi Dave,
You are looking pretty good. You do need to go rename your Index.html file in the Http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/TemplateAboutMe directory to a lower case i. index.htm and index.html have to be lower case or the system will not recognize it automatically.
One thing you might want to remember about GDI, it is a back-end program although a very inexpensive one. I fully agree we have a great deal here with BYB, but, when used as an inexpensive back-end program, GDI can make you a lot of money.
I do hope everyone has gotten with their sponsor and taken the Magnetic Sponsoring Boot Camp. Also, by the end of the Boot Camp, you will definitely want to purchase the Magnetic Sponsoring Course. I guarantee you it will be the BEST $37 you ever spent. If I were you, I would order it immediately when you get the First Day of the Book Camp. The complete course will be shipped to you. By the time you get through the 10 day of the Boot Camp, you should already have received the manual for the course and you will be ready to dive right into it. I waited until I finished the Boot Camp before I ordered and then I wished I had ordered it sooner. I am putting my link here ONLY FOR THE USE OF MY PERSONALLY SPONSORED PEOPLE. BE SURE YOU CONTACT YOUR SPONSOR AND SIGN UP THROUGH HIS OR HER SITE. http://url123.com/d6myw _________________ Ron Clark

I'm not surprised about the lowercaps.
Actually, Jeff Cline and I talked last night about how to set up the website. I will be loading all my pages into the route directory except those pages I might want to put a direct URL on an email message somewhere. By loading aboutme.html (for instance) into the first Public html folder and putting that into my link, it will clean up my site and make it easier to remember where things are. The other way, making a folder for each page and converting the aboutme.html to index.html gives me more chance of screwing up and loading the wrong index file in the wrong folder. It made a lot of sense to me. Tonight I am going to work on that aspect.
I quess I mentioned that I want to use my tractor board to put a link on any post to go see my pictures. I won't push BYB there other than to say that "this site is making it able for me to finally retire and have more time to play with the tractors". I might point out how clean it is compared to some places guys are posting their pictures. I would like to try that idea anyway since I have spent a lot of time there asking and answering questions.
Thanks for looking at my site and also the tip on Magnetic Sponsoring. Once you buy the book, is it branded with your stuff on it? I have been getting some of the lessons, but I have been storing theim in a folder because I have been spending too much time browsing the forums and building my site.

P.S.
Jeff gave me another tip. To help keep all pages consistent he suggested that I build a blank page with nothing in it except the links to the other page. Then when I want to build a page, I would load blank.html into my Arachnophillia program and add the rest of the page. Each page would look the same then as far as the links go.

Dave, are you sure you are 69? You are all over this like a 25 year old kid!
Jeff has given you some very excellent pointers. Keep up the good work.
As for Magnetic Marketing, did you get in the Boot Camp from Warren's site? You should be able to tell by looking at the emails you have received with each day's lesson. The email will say something like "Best Wishes, Warren Contreras" toward the end. If that is not what they say, then contact Warren and get his site and sign up again. Then order the course manual right away. The manual will be shipped but you will get the rest of the things, like your own Magnetic Marketing web site, right away.
I am going to run most of my advertising exclusively through there. I think you will understand why after you get the manual and read it.
By the way, did you get the link to your picture fixed on your web site. It wasn't coming up. _________________ Ron Clark

Yep, last time I looked at my drivers license, It said 1937. I remember the day FDR died, I was in the second or third grade.

Yes, I had signed up last year, I think on Warren's reccomendation, but I didn't remember so I signed up for the course again. You see the 'I don't remember' is proof of 69 years. You know that memory is the second thing to go, don't you? For the life of me I can't remember whats first.

What kind of advertising are you going to do from there? I am always looking for ideas to steal.

No, not yet. I have been experimenting on that for the last half hour. I did get the image up into Cpanel (I think). I named it 'MeWC' for my WC shirt I was wearing. Is the Caps causing me problems? _________________ Dave Fullmer

Yes Dave, you are right. The caps got you again. In the HTML code, you called for the picture file with this statement http://newconcepts.bybweb.com/images/MeWC.jpg , but your file is actually called WCMe.JPG. You need to either change the code or change the file name. I would suggest you might want to always use lower case so you don't have to remember. Also, you can save some space and time in your code by just putting "images/mewc.jpg" without the quotes as long as you are using an images directory or folder off the folder where your html file calling it is located.
This should get you going. _________________ Ron Clark

Thanks Ron,
But I gotta ask. How in the world do you know what my files are named? Can you see in my Cpanel? That's almost scary.
I'll try to correct it tonight. Then I have to go back and rebuild all the rest of my files so I can get rid of most of the folders. Jeff suggested to keep the First Step page in a folder so that I could refer people to 'http://newconcepts.bybweb/firststep' rather than 'http://newconcepts.bybweb/firststep.html' I am going to try to follow Jeff's suggestions because I have been trained to follow what the successful people suggest rather than just go off on my own. Also, it seems to me that if I want my sponsor's help, it makes sense to do what he suggests until I am successful. Besides the more we keep it the same the more duplicatabe it is. I guess I had moved faster than he could keep up in quiding me. I have absolutely no experience in WebSite building. A little in html, but very little. I do have some computer programing experience lacking just 6 hours credit for my major in computer science. Some of the concepts of html are very similar to Pascal and some of the other programs.
What's your experience? You seem very knowledgeable with html.
I think I'll also check out the Magnetic Sponsoring. I noticed on another board a thread that Warren got into that he is not 100% a believer of Mike Dillard's thinking although he said Mike's concepts influenced his phylosophy.
Are you and I the only ones using the forum? Wish more would drop by. I thrive on the give and take of other people's ideas.

Ron,
I got my picture linked to my About Me page. I learn something new every day. I guess I am just a kid (at leaast at heart).
I don't feel so young at least the last 6 weeks. I fell from a sizzor lift at work 6 weeks ago yesterday. It was only 5 or six feet but I landed on my backside and my head and was out of work for 3 weeks. Then I went back on light duty until this week. I am still not 100% but the good Lord was watching out for me. Didn't break anything but was I brused up. Wheelchair the first week with some crutches, Crutches the next week with some wheel chair, cane the third week and started driving again, and light duty at work the 4 week. I still am using the cane at work because of the amount of walking I do. I'm an electrical maintenance technician and I have to do some climbing on ladders and into the lift to work up high on conduit, etc. Back at it and this week they wanted 10 hours a day but I am giving them 9. Otherwise I feel like I did in my 50's.
Going to have to take another picture. This one is too dark and it shows how much I gained in the last 6 weeks.
Thanks again,

Dave, you asked about my background so here is the answer. I was a computer systems analyst when I took early retirement about 6 years ago. I went back to school to get my CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) which involves learning a whole bunch of additional internet programming languages in addition to studies in Internet System Management, TCP/IP Internetworking, Network Security and Firewalls, and a lot more. Basically, it is a certification for webmasters. I first started working with computers in the early 80s when I was an electronics engineer. I have also been a Novel and MicroSoft Network Administrator.
You asked how I knew what your file was named. No, I don't have access to your cPanel. It really was pretty easy. I first looked at your source code which told me what you thought you named the file and where it was located. Once I knew where it was located, all I had to do was get a directory of you images folder to see what all was in it. I did that by simply using a web browser and typing in http://www.newconcepts.bybweb.com/images/
Since you did not have a index.html file in the images folder before, it just gave me a directory of anything that was in the folder. You have now put a index.html file in that folder so people can no longer see a directory of it.
Well, guess I better get to bed. Hope this helps and by all means, follow your sponsor because you have put your confidence in him and he will not let you down. _________________ Ron Clark

Wow, that's an impressive background.
I first started working with computers as a 3M service representave in the middle 70's. I lived in Grand Rapids, Mich then and worked for a 3M dealer servicing copy machines and microfilm equipment. 3M came out with 2 machines that I serviced, one was a Microdisk that indexed roll microfilm for searching documents. I could find a specific document within minutes out of a stack of hundreds of rolls of film. The other was a laser beam recorder that would copy IBM main frame computer disks on microfiche. It was quite an education. Then in 1980, I worked for a company that built automated manufacturing equipment and I learned PLC programming and went on the road setting up and debugging the equipment. That's how I ended up here in West Tenn.
I started playing with Timex, TI, and Commodore computers and when IBM came out with the PC, the company I worked for bought an XT to use out in the production area for some reason I can't remember. I started playing with it because I had a lot of time on my hands and learned a little about Edlin and Basic. All of a sudden I was the "Guru" in the plant and was asked to help with computers up in the front office. I kept asking myself "Who is going to service these things?" I wanted to set up a service business.
Then when the clones came out, I bought one for myself and realized that I could build them and start a business. Always, my interest was in the hardware with some interest in the software. I ended up opening a business and built a lot of XT's and AT's before I lost interest in about 1991 and went back to work in the manufacturing industry as a maintenance technician.
I really wasn't thinking that anyone could get into my Cpanel, but was curious how you could see the name. Now I wonder why the index file got there. Maybe I uploaded my about me file thinking that was the way to get my pic to show. I wonder if I should delete it?
You have been very helpful. I bought the Mag Sponsoring book last night. Now if I can break away from building web pages, I need to go study the Boot Camp lessons.
In the meantime, we are rebuilding a heat treating machine at work and I am rewiring it, and reprograming it. It has a PLC SLC 503 with 11 slots. There is considerable changing that has to be done to the program because we moved the machine into a new building and it is set up with a lenghtened burner area, added burners and the quench tank has been lenghened also. We are adding an automatic opperation and the press we are going to use needs a modification in the program. The PLC in the press is opsolete, we can't access the program and we can't acquire software to access it so I will have to put another in it and program it.
Sorry about being longwinded. I just don't get to talk tech with too many people and you sound like someone who knows and appreciates what all this intails.
I'll let you know when I add more stuff to my site.
