Let's see if I can clearly define my question. First of all, I want to go on record as buying the concept of "Attraction marketing". But I am sure others besides myself are "just a little" tempted" to go out and try to promote another program, for example P4P.
Consider this example: Someone signs up for Bring your Buddy and then looks at the "Sponsor reccommended programs" and signs up for P4P. He gets excited about the potential and as he checks out the team forum and tools he starts to buy into the concept of Attraction Marketing.
The question is: Is there ever room for cheating a little and promoting, or should he really discipline himself and not say boo about P4P until the right opportunity arises? And how does he recognize that right moment?
The other question is this: Is P4P an opportunity that might lend itself to offline marketing?
Maybe some others have some thoughts on this subject. I would enjoy seeing a discussion going about it

Dave,
You can promote anything you like, just not here.
Since dropping focus on NPN, this Forum is a Bring Your Buddy Team Forum. Anything that will further the goal of gaining more Buddies is fair game as long as it's not just a blatant pitch.
We are all here to learn how to get more Buddies, so let's stay on track.
Sure I'm a Plan4Power member too and would love to get more signups for it, but I am telling you right now all the signups I now have or will have in the future I will BET will be Buddies first.
Any resources expended on promoting 'Opportunities' will be wasted time from my experience. Read my stuff and listen to the Podcasts and you can see what I think and I didn't get there by chance. I clawed my way up the ladder one rung at a time and almost every rung I gained was through a personal relationship with someone else.

Warren, Yes that does make sense to me. I guess the question came up in my mind because of clicking on "My sponsor recommends".
I'm thinking that maybe putting recommended progams on that link might confuse the waters for someone who is looking at it. Is it possible that those links might be better used to ad programs that would help bring in more buddies? It's been my experience that I can easily get off focus and start setting up other junk than keeping the focus on the main issue. _________________ Dave Fullmer

My Sponsor Recommends listings include both. I have promotion aids as well as the program you mentioned. There's nothing wrong with that, it's why BYB put it there. _________________ Warren Contreras
