Hey Warren, after 68 of them each every one of them can be considered
a bonus, a reward for keeping physically and mentally fit!
I've been thinking about your last call to arms...in a few words "what's
the matter with you guys...why can't you get sign-ups? My first excuse is
I just spent last week moving to a downstairs apartment in my building...
in spite of getting lots of help from my two sons I still hurt my upper back
packing boxes etc (pain, physical therapy, no computer time) I'm OK now and sitting on a ball...yes, a ball.
The Physical Therapist told me that my back pain had really originated from a posture problem that we traced to sitting at the computer for long periods of time...then the answer came -not blowing in the wind - but in an article published 8/16 in The Seattle Times (Job Market section),
title New path to fitness: Have a ball at work.
It just occured to me that I could write an article on this subject and I will
today so I'll send you a link as soon as I get it published.
To get back to the subject of recruiting, I think the problem is two-fold: too much stuff coming at us and lack of focus, one being the cause or the result of the other...I dunno.
Basically I have three $10 programs to promote: Bring Your Buddy,
The NPN, GDI. Empowerism $19.95, Plan4Power $25 one time. But
there are all the ancillary programs: traffic exchanges, list building
etc. we use for promotion. And last but not least all the email coming at me, some of which I have to read because I agreed to for credits and I have just begun to spend more time on forums...
Well Warren, I want you to know that I really appreciate having you there
still willing to motivate us.
Thank you so much,
Fran |

Hey Warren, Did not know it was your birthday when I talked to you a while ago. Happy Late Birthday.
Fran, I agree with what you said about everything coming at you. Been in all those things you mentioned. Now I am trying to concentrate on BYB and P4P, thanks to Warren's help.
I am new to the forum, so don't know if I did this right.

Hi to all!
Happy Birthday, Warren! I too, didn't know it was your birthday.
I agree with Fran. Only, I have just one other program I am promoting, besides BYB. Unfortunately, I just found out the my other program, Melaleuca, has a clause about members not benefiting from referrals. The way I found out was, someone posted to one of our Yahoo groups, asking what we used for autoresponders (ARs). I let a couple people reply, as the lady was looking for FREE ones. Well, when several said they were using the back office from Networker Central, a source of "rather" expensive leads. AND, it costs $24 or $29.95 a month to use their back office. So, here's what I did. I said I had a program I used that costs a lot less. Please e-mail me off list for more info. Then, when 4 or 5 emailed me, I told them about BYB, the Audio Post cards and so on. Someone later posted about a free source of ARs. But said, if you join from my link "is that considered benefiting from referrals?" So, I quickly e-mailed all I had sent info to privately, apologizing and so on. Some businesses or downlines can get REALLY mean if you break their rules. Everyone pretty much said, "don't worry." It really makes me mad that Melaleuca has that rule. After all, how do you help people when you have programs that are such a good deal, but are referral programs? All traffic exchanges are like that...I guess they'd rather individually or as co-ops, buy leads. We all know how THAT works! One program I was in even discouraged co-ops, as who was monitoring to make sure everyone got their fair share?
Oh, well. I did, however, tell my enroller about BYB. In my estimation, BYB could really help even those who buy leads. How about sending a follow-up Audio Post card to your leads? Wouldn't THAT be special?
Just my 2 cents!

I haven't finished my website...so many things to do! Congrats on yours!
Sally Mar that is indeed a sad story you tell about a program that is
impeding your progress instead of promoting it...if I understood correctly.
We can be thankfull for Warren's leadership and willingness to help us...I
have just started spending some time on a few forums following his good
advice that it is time well spent.
I'm looking forward to keeping up with your progress Oniece and Sally Mar.
Fran :) |

Hope it was a good one. Actually, if you get up of a morning and look in the obits and don't find yourself listed, it is a great day
I didn't realize when I sent you that miracle underwater birth picture, it was just in time for your special day.
I wish you another 68 with as good of health as you have now. No telling how many people you will have helped by then but I do know they will appreciate your giving spirit and excellent advise as much as we have. Keep up the good work. :D |
